Found mainly in the London Borough of Lambeth, Streatham is a South London district with a population in excess of 55,000 people; according to the 2011 census.

In fact, this is The Gym and they are located right next to the new Aldi so you can work up a sweat and then make sure you are eating right in one easy move.
Mind you, you don’t want to overdo things on the exercise front, and this is why it is great to know that there are plenty of places where you can indulge yourself. Whether you need a caffeine boost to act as a pick-me-up or a sweet treat to reward yourself for your efforts, there are plenty of options. There are plenty of transport options in Streatham
Streatham Railway Station is found on Streatham High Road and is located in Travelcard Zone 3, with services provided by Thameslink and Southern. Thameslink provide connections to Luton and Bedford by means of Blackfriars, and to St Pancras in the City, while also providing connections to Wimbledon. Southern offer connections between West Croydon and London Bridge.
There are also three other railway stations within easy reach of Streatham, with Norbury Railway Station, Streatham Common Railway Station and Streatham Hill Station all providing travel options for local residents.

Highly regarded primary schools in Streatham include St Leonard's Church of England Primary School, located on Mitcham Lane, St Andrew’s Catholic Primary School, found on Polworth Road and Immanuel and St Andrew Church of England Primary School which is found on Northanger Road. For secondary schools in Streatham, Woodmansterne School on Stockport Road is a good option and in 2013, it received an Ofsted rating of “Outstanding”. You can also consider Granton Primary School, on Granton Road, as this is another school that received an “Outstanding” mark from Ofsted. There are some excellent schools providing kids with a strong level of education, making Streatham an ideal destination for parents wanting to support their children.
Probably the most highly regarded secondary school option in Streatham is Streatham and Clapham High School which is an independent all-girls school and this is located on Abbotswood Road. There is also Dunraven School, found on Leigham Court Road and the schools’ motto of “Excellence For All” is one that stands up. Any parent looking for a strongly regarded secondary school of the Roman Catholic faith will find that Bishop Thomas Grant on Belltrees Grove is well worth considering.
Get some fresh air in Streatham
You will not struggle for parkland areas in Streatham with Streatham Common being a popular destination and options like Tooting Bec Common within easy reach. You should also find that Streatham offers more than enough options for dining, drinking, socialising and entertainment, making it a fantastic option for potential homebuyers.
Of course, when it comes to the best greenery in Streatham, you’ll find it hard to argue against The Rookery.
